Co-Founder Jodie-Carla Hatherall

  • Jodie-Carla Hatherall is a distinguished Ph.D. student at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where she conducts innovative research in cognitive neuroscience and risk decision-making. She has garnered significant recognition for her proven track record in the design and implementation of transformational change and risk management frameworks (IBP), both nationally and globally. Jodie-Carla's impressive skill set includes baseline specification and target program delivery with a focus on insurable and litigated risk modeling, as well as domestic and international risk and compliance management. She is also known for her ability to establish and manage high-performing teams.

    In addition to her academic pursuits, Jodie-Carla has carved out a niche for herself as a specialist in several areas. Her expertise in global strategy and leadership, culture and change management, and organizational behavior and workplace psychology has propelled her to the forefront of her field. Through her multifaceted approach to research and practical applications, Jodie-Carla Hatherall continues to make a significant impact on the understanding and advancement of risk management and organizational development.ption

  • Dr. Amber Brittain-Hale, co-founder of BrainStates, is a leading expert in foreign policy analysis, diplomacy, and strategic decision-making. Known for her empirics-grounded approach to global challenges, she directs BrainStates’ research and thought leadership in providing actionable, data-driven insights to public and private decision-makers. Under her leadership, the firm has produced high-impact policy briefs, strategic risk assessments, and geopolitical forecasts, positioning it at the forefront of international analysis and organizational strategy.

    In addition to her role at BrainStates, Dr. Brittain-Hale is a principal at The Brittain Group, where she applies her expertise in stakeholder management, business analysis, and international dynamics. Her ability to synthesize historical insights with modern geopolitical trends has proven critical in advising executive teams and influencing high-level decision-making. She has been pivotal in shaping strategic processes across non-profit, policy, and political sectors, leveraging her deep understanding of global leadership and foreign affairs.

    Dr. Brittain-Hale holds a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University, an MA in International Relations from the University of San Diego, and a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
